My Clients ..

Adult

I believe that working collaboratively is the best approach to a therapeutic relationship. With my individual clients I use a client-centered approach. My main theories of practice combine existential, solution focused, and attachment theory. I occasionally bring in mindfulness and somatic practices into my work to engage the connection between the body and mind. I hold that everyone’s therapeutic journey is multidimensional and unique, and that clients deserve to uncover what it mean to be their bests-selves. I feel honored to accompany them as they discover different facets of themselves and grow.

Adolescence

I love my work with adolescence! I believe that empowering our future generations to speak their minds and express themselves is where the therapeutic working relationship forms. I use a combination of talk and mindfulness practices to engage my clients in the therapeutic process.

Case by Case is unique , depending on the care and work, I work collaboratively with caregivers to support adolescent clients. Working together with caregivers along side my work with clients has shown to be not only supportive but crucial for clients growth.

Specialty

Sexuality and Gender : I enjoy working with adolescents navigating gender identity and exploring their sexuality. I work to normalize and empathize the “coming out process” , providing a safe space for them to bring all of themselves. I use a social justice lens in identifying injustices that impact LGBTQIA2+ youth clients, giving youth the space to explore their own relationship to marginalization and privilege . I work collaboratively with clients to support their specific needs and curiosities.
